Larry Brill

Larry Brill was born and raised in California's Silicon Valley before anyone had a clue what silicon could do, at a time when apricot orchards outnumbered BMW dealerships. Larry stayed close to home and earned his degree in Journalism at San Jose State University before setting out for a career as TV news anchor.\n\n25 years later, when Larry got out of the TV news business, he got serious about writing funny stuff and drew upon the foibles of the people and the industry badly in need of lampooning. His first two novels, Live At Five and The Patterer, both dish out a comical clash of love, lust, and questionable journalistic ethics in different ways, set in different centuries. I mean, imagine if Ben Franklin had invented the TV newscast in 1765.\n\nOh, and by the way, Larry is the first winner of the tongue-in-cheek Bulwer-Lytton Fiction Contest who has expanded his writing into the realm of full-blown novels.
